JOHNSTONE MACPHERSON-STEWART
Johnstone is a visionary filmmaker from Scotland who has made a name for himself through his unique dynamic style of storytelling.
In 2015 he began his studies in Glasgow at the acclaimed Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduating in 2018 with a BA in Digital Film and Television specialising in Cinematography. Leaving the RCS with high prospects and awarded best film student of the year, Johnstone went on to win the “Best Cinematography” award at the 2019 Royal Television Society Student Scotland Awards for his work on the graduation film “Coalescence”.
His filmmaking passion originated from his deep involvement within the action sport of Parkour where he is internationally recognised within the community through his cinematic action films and continuing involvement with The Motus Projects.
Johnstone’s own physical agility and strength, together with his sharp eye for movement, allow him to achieve shots that would otherwise be unattainable.
A keen editor and seasoned self shooter, Johnstone is the perfect package to cover any event. His professional career spans the last 5 years creating films for some of the biggest brands around the world.
